Casey Minkoff – Veterinary Technician
My name is Casey Minkoff, I was born in Connecticut but got to Texas as soon as I could! I have been a Veterinary Technician for 10 years now and I am always wanting to learn more about the field. I met my future husband, Jamison, while out singing Karaoke in 2001 and we got married in 2018. In November 2020, we welcomed our first baby, Charlotte (Charlie). In my spare time I love to read, play soccer, and take walks with Charlie and our dog, Layla. I can’t wait to get to know you and your fur babies!

Nikki Becherer – Veterinary Technician
Nikki is a dedicated Veterinary Technician with over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field. She joined our clinic in July 2024 and brings a deep passion for animal care and client support to our team.
Originally from Forestburg, Texas, Nikki is especially driven by her commitment to being a voice for animals and providing care when they need it most. Her professional interests include surgery and client education, where she enjoys helping pet owners better understand and support their animals’ health.
Outside of the clinic, Nikki lives on a large ranch with her husband and son. She cares for a lively group of animals, including five dogs, one cat, three horses, a donkey, and 22 cows—reflecting her lifelong love and dedication to animals of all kinds.
Leah Lewis – Veterinary Technician
Leah is a Veterinary Technician who has been working in the veterinary field for four years. She joined our hospital in March 2026 and is originally from Granbury, Texas.
Leah’s favorite part of working in veterinary medicine is caring for animals while continuing to expand her knowledge of animal health. She has a strong interest in surgery, particularly rare and unique procedures, and enjoys the opportunity to learn something new each day.
Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending her time off with friends from her church community. She is also a proud pet owner to five animals—two dogs and three cats—who keep her busy and are thoroughly spoiled.
Looking ahead, Leah plans to further her education with the goal of becoming a nurse and caring for infants.
