Carlie Howell
My name is Carlie Howell, and I am a senior at Krum High School. I just recently started at KVH this past October. I was born in Denton in 2006 and have grown up here my whole life. I have 3 brothers, Cole, a junior in college; Caden, a junior in high school; and Grayson is in the second grade. I have always idolized my dad; he taught me to always strive for success and that success is always obtainable if you work hard enough. I am an officer for the Krum FFA Chapter, and I am involved in Denton County 4H. Not only do I show breeding and market goats, but I also compete on the Krum FFA Leadership Development Team, Ag Advocacy. I have played softball for 13 years and am currently an outfielder for Krum Ladycats Varsity Softball. After I graduate, I plan to attend a 4-year university for sonography.
Jazmine King
Hello, my name is Jazmine King. My husband and I moved to Texas early in 2022 and I am so happy to begin making a home here. Because of my love for animals, I am aspiring to finish college and become a certified veterinary technician. During my off time I love horseback riding and spending time with our two dogs, Captain Rex and Kaya.
Kathryn McKee
My name is Kathryn, or Kat, I answer to either name. I just recently moved to Decatur, Texas in September of 2023, all the way from Sacramento, California to follow my mother and grandmother to have the support of family. I am a single mom who is raising her brilliant and good hearted seven-year-old son. In my spare time I enjoy playing sports and video games with my son, as well as helping get my neighborhood cats spayed and neutered to help prevent over-population. I have always had a great love for animals since I was a child, but it wasn’t until the tragic passing of my sweet cat Lilly back in 2019 which triggered me to get involved in animal medicine/rescue and my local community so I can help educate others on their animals’ health/well-being. I currently own one dog and many cats. I would love to have my own animal sanctuary, but for now I am very content with what I have. After almost a year of being out of the vet field, I am ecstatic to be working here at Krum Vet Hospital and look forward to getting to know you and your fur babies.
